Natalie Ashdown is a champion of implementing coaching culture within organisations. Natalie is an experienced coach, author and leader within the Australian coaching community. Natalie’s many roles and talents!
In a typical week or month, Natalie has a number of executive coaching clients; facilitates a number of leading edge coaching programs; leads the team at Open Door; is responsible for governance and RTO compliance; writes the materials and intellectual property (she’s a night owl!); is the Director of the business; creative director in marketing and writes marketing materials for Open Door; does speaking engagments; writes tenders, big proposals and strategy documents for things like scope registration and government funding and leading edge program developer for Open Door; is involved in the community through Rotary, in the coaching community through ICF and ANZI Coaching; she is a mentor to many coaches, is a mum to Nathan (aged 5), wife, sister, daughter, friend, colleague and inspires many people; she is focused on her health, participated in the Oxfam 100km Trailwalker; loves doing breakfast and getting into the fresh air, writes at night rather than watching telly however she loves Australian Idol and MasterChef…she loves what she does, is grateful for her gifts and the brilliant clients and colleagues that she hangs out with every day!
How does she do it? She loves her work, loves making a difference, is focused on what inspires her, there’s 24 hours in a day…and then there’s the nights!! She is surrounded by outstanding people and a team who are outstanding at what they do…yes she can and does delegate!!

Natalie currently coaches executives, senior management and teams from Australia's leading corporations, government organisations, along with private business clients. Areas of expertise encompass team leadership (including leadership vision and values), strategic business development, communication, negotiations and managing conflict.

Natalie is an engaging speaker, who brings passion, inspiration and real life to her speaking engagements along with a great sense of humour and practicality. She wants her audience to take key actions away from her engagements that they can implement back into the workplace, to make a difference…otherwise what’s the point!
Expertise
Natalie holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from RMIT and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Melbourne (2001). She also holds the Diploma of Workplace and Business Coaching, Master Practitioner of NLP, Master Coaching and Master of Ericksonian Hypnosis.
Natalie holds the status of ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and is the Director of the Open Door Coaching Group Registered Training Organisation.
